I got stuck. Like, really stuck.

Curious? Come on in...

Hello, hello,

It’s been a while since my last email.

For months, I’ve been wondering if this would be the week I’d finally hit send. But each time, the intention faded as quickly as it came.

Truth is, I got stuck.

With NeedWorkshops.
With figuring out the next step.
And, yes, with writing these emails too.

I launched NeedWorkshops late last year as a concept to test a simple instinct: that there’s immense power in bringing people together online to explore topics that matter.

In the beginning, it was a whirlwind of activity—twice-monthly workshops co-designed and co-facilitated with incredible collaborators. Magic moments happened.

But in testing this concept, I uncovered some key insights:

  • Rallying people to join workshops as individuals (not part of an established group) took a lot of energy.

  • And while the workshops were impactful, the connections didn’t have the staying power I had hoped for.

When I get stuck like this, I try to lean in—not to frustration, but to reflection.

I gave my subconscious room to connect the dots. I paid attention to what gave me energy and what drained it. I talked to people whose perspectives I trust. I asked questions.

3 journaling prompts if you are feeling stuck

What feels most heavy or unclear right now?
Write without judgment to explore the root of your feelings.

What would this situation look like if it felt effortless?
Envision a version of your challenge that flows with ease and jot down what’s different.

What gives me energy, and what drains it?
List your current activities, relationships, or commitments and reflect on their impact on your energy.

Then, a former colleague approached me with an opportunity: to facilitate large online workshops for their partners. Co-designed and co-facilitated with their incredible team of coaches.

And suddenly, I was doing the work I love — on a monthly basis, at scale, on topics the world needs.

It took some time to see the pattern, but this is the direction I want to take NeedWorkshops:
Partnering with incredible organisations to design and facilitate powerful online experiences at scale.

For me, this is where the magic happens.

At the same time, I’m not letting go of the vision to offer open workshops on the topics that matter. Those will return in 2025, with even more clarity and intention behind them.

So, here I am, back in your inbox with a renewed sense of purpose as I close out 2024.

How are you closing your 2024?

If you’re curious about this journey or want to collaborate, hit reply. I’d love to hear from you.

Curiously connecting,

Always,

Perle
